The Liver and Kidneys play a very important role in your health by getting rid of toxins and filtering the system.
With a little knowledge and discipline; a liver and kidney detox & cleanse can do wonders for your health. Part of green living is being healthy and eating a healthy green diet.
Without these vital organs, the body would entirely shut down.
Conversely, there are massive amounts of chemicals in your food and poisons in your air. The liver and kidneys are often overworked and overexposed to many harmful toxins. In fact, liver and kidney disease is on the rise plus the death rate increases yearly. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), kidney disease is listed as one of the top ten causes of death in America and the growth rate is 4-8 % each year. In the UK, liver disease kills more people than road deaths and diabetes combined and two times more people have died from the disease since 1991. That is a little over 20 years.
I enjoy statistics because it tells us a lot about our cultures and how we live. Truthfully, I could easily continue with the overwhelming statistics of liver and kidney disease since there are so many; but let us move on. I would hate to bore you before we got to the positive side of a healthy detox diet.
