  1. * 2 onion, chopped
  2. * 6-8 carrots, sliced
  3. * 2 potatoes, chopped
  4. * 2 tomatoes, chopped
  5. * 5 stalk of celery, chopped
  6. * 1 bunch of parsley, minced
  7. * 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  8. * 1 bunch of broccoli, chopped
  9. * 1 bunch of spinach, chopped
  10. * 4 cloves garlic, minced
  11. * 3 1 inch slices of ginger root, optional
  12. * 2 bay leaves, optional
  13. * ¼ cup sea vegies (Wakame, Nori, Dulse, Kombu or Hijiki), may substitute 3 teaspoons miso
  14. * 8-10 cups filtered water
  1. Clean all vegetables thoroughly
  2. Chop vegetables
  3. Place all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium-low
  4. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender
  5. Strain and get rid of all solids (you can freeze the vegetables for future use)
  1. Optional: If the potassium broth is not for someone who is sick or fasting you can keep all solids in the soup
